The Presentation
We was allocated a time 2.40pm-3.00pm in MS018. Rebecca prepared a template shared PowerPoint presentation which featured slides captioned of what was to be included in the slides, the idea was all of our final pieces to be a visual aid alongside our spoken presentation. However the standard of this template was insufficient to my standard, as the team representative, I took it upon my own initiative to remake the presentation to visually look coherent as a team project rather than multiple separate pieces, even though we did work prominently individually, we all communicated through a Facebook group chat, where we shared our progress, such as typography and illustrations shown below and also included Alisha's animation of a bird too, which would later be developed into a QR code filter around campus.
I added the aim of the project, as a reminder as to what we was working towards and bringing the project back to it's point to ourselves and audience.
This was our first initial quote and what we originally used in our pitch, we later developed our motivational quotes to a series of three which could easily be extended in the future as a live project. The placement of this is at the entrance of the site, as has connotations to show if you're having a bad day, it's okay, tomorrow is a new day.
This is a quote Sam found, which we enjoyed with the humour and irony. The placement of this connotates lateness and this is where you would be found if you was late on your way to your lesson. It also says its okay if you're not first, you can still achieve great things. Rebecca made some visual illustrations of the quote and Alisha animated them further.
This is the final set of the series, I found this quote, I liked the creativity theme in this quote and it's ideal placement would be in the art studio, which would act as a "you can do it" message to the students.
Overall, I am pleased with our contribution to the group project, I believe we answered the brief and aim to a high standard visually as a final piece and as a group, with people of various skills and disciplines. As the team representative, I am extremely happy to say I have worked with the team I have, we all worked on our individual roles and came together well as a team to present our efforts.
